I think they’re trying to be seen as a serious anime, rather than just a “commercial” for the arcade game, cause that’s how some people view it as.
I really like that Fresh Pretty Cure addresses the issue of balancing being a magical girl and having a normal life, but still sends the message that they can achieve both if they work hard enough at it.submitted by anon
